Gut Health – Brain Health
Does your gut seem to have a mind of its own?
A healthy gut is important for overall health. The proper functioning of digestion, absorption and elimination lays the foundation for a thriving body. If you have ever experienced digestive issues, bloating, stress, fatigue or brain fog you know the nuisance it brings.
In both Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda proper digestion is seen as essential for optimal health.
In Chinese Medicine each major organ system is linked to specific emotions and mental aspects. Western Medicine is catching up with this ancient wisdom and is putting more emphasize on the influence of gut health on our mental and psychological state. Labeled as the second brain more attention is given to the influence of gut health on our emotional and cognitive centers of the brain.
In this workshop we:
- explore the link between gut health & brain health.
- take a deeper look into the different emotions & mental states related to our internal organs.
- explore the importance of gut health.
As the workshop is planned close to the Spring Equinox 2020, it has a special bonus related to cleansing and nourishing the liver.
The workshop is concluded with Stem Cell Qi Gong, a powerful form of Qi Gong for detoxifying the organs, both physically and energetically. It restores vitality and rejuvenates the organs. You feel refreshed when leaving the workshop, ready for the rest of the day. You might have even picked up a new morning routine.
